Timeline Confusion

Ok so when Piccolo, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha are killed by the Saiyans they go to King Kai's to train amirite? Alright so when Goku was killed he immediately began to run snake way, right? Well King Kai said that Piccolo, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha ran across it in like a week right? So how come they were just then getting there when Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan arrived on Namek, when it had been AT LEAST a month since they were killed. Do you think that maybe they were there before then, and only told Goku when they saw he was traveling to Namek or something? Cuz if they had like a month of training that would allow people to put Piccolo higher since he actually recieved more than 6 days of training lol.

Idk just something I thought of, dunno if its already been posted.

This is a good question. However; I don't remember Kaio mentioning a week? I remember him telling Goku that they cleared serpent road, and arrived at a far shorter time then Goku did. Even so, they should've been there for about a month when you think about it.

Eh, maybe I heard it in the anime, I didn't bother to check the manga.

The main thing that points to them being there less then a month, is the fact that Kaio mentions that they want tougher training then Goku, Yamcha's mention of barely being able to run, Tien's quote about mastering essentials to his skill and not being able to surpass Goku, and I believe that's it.

All of those quotes, to me, sounds like they weren't there for all that long. They could've been there a couple days, but likely not a month. We can at least think that Piccolo was there for more then six days with this in mind, though.

Kaiou-sama simply mentioned that they got there far quicker than he (Gokuu) did, and didn't list a specific time frame that it took them.

King Kai never said how long it took them but one would think that Piccolo and the others would be pretty eager to train so I doubt they'd wait that long.
