How many galaxies are there in the Dragonball universe?
I was thinking. Since East Kaioshin was the guardian of the east section, and above the Kaios, wouldn't that mean that there is at least 16 galaxies. If there are no Kaio's in-between.

No, the north-, south-, east- and west-galaxy are all parts of the east section of the universe.

Because a Kaio overlooks a galaxy, a Kaioshin overlooks a quarter of the universe.
Kaioshin > Kaio, Quarter of the Universe > Galaxy

Wait, when Kaioshin introduced himself to Piccolo, Piccolo mentioned a Daimo-Kaio (grand kaio) which is supose to greater than a Kaio. So there might be 32, unless Daimo-Kaio works the same way as Daimo-Kaioshin (which seems lvery ikely).

Well there's only one Supreme Kai now, so he wouldn't just be looking at the "East", it would be everything.

I always thought it was shitty on AT's part not to define each and every Galaxy.
I agree with Devilz, always thought there were four but that kind of makes sense.

In the west sector (I think) There are 4 galaxies that have been stated, east north west and south, and DB takes place in North. There could be millions of unstated galaxies thruought the DB universe.

There has to be numerous galaxies. Majin Buu destroyed entire Galaxies when he first ran rampant in the Universe. It's never stated how many he destroyed though.
