I'm trying to work out exactly how strong the kids are at base you see.

If 18 was holding back power, they could be weaker than 100% Freiza

Yeah, he had the eye holes, but since they were fighting so fast, it made no difference, because he still couldn't see that good. Also; why do you think Trunks was at full-power? He could barely coordinate his movements, how is he going to be able to use his full-power?

In no way was Trunks the least bit scared of #18. Trunks looked frustrated, not scared. He even said: "We'll never win this way" after Goten jumped in the air. That was after constantly complaining about Goten going the wrong way.

Yeah frustrated ..and i think that the quote "will never win this way" is enough to prove that they where using full effort if they still had something they woudl used it and not run from her ..Just like you King cold exampel

That was a direct reference to the Mighty Mask disadvantage. If Trunks has to rely on the kid who can't see to dodge atatcks, they aren't going to win. He says it right after he tell's Goten to jump away from the beam #18 fired at them.

I never thought the kids in their bases were stronger then #18, whether they were in Mighty Mask or not. I just want it to be understood, that even though #18 held back, they were at a disadvantage. So it even's out between them both.

I know im just trying to show to you that they where Full power....and i belive because they didnt have anything left in their base sates (if they did they would use it right?)they wouldnt turn SSJ but try to fight her ,and then looking at the face expression the boys had they definitlly looked like they where giving their best....

I don't think the boys were at full power. They were worried that they were going to lose because the costume hindered their movements. Goten had no opportunity to attack while Trunks did, but Trunks had to tell Goten where and when to move, eating up precious time.

Now I question, if the boys fought the android together without the costume at full effort in base, who would come out on top?

They where at full power .... if they didnt they would continue fighting her in their base state and be at full power but they admitt that they dont stand a chance against her in this state so they turned SSJ.... Its so obvious ...they where pathetic in that fight
