However, this is where I take a more mathamatical approach.

As I mentioned here, these increasing boosts are wrong. Let me show you with a simple argument

I am assuming you can comprehend the following, it's quite simple, but amazingly it goes right over the heads of some people.

Lets say Krillin was PL:100 and he trained for 5 years, recieving a x2 increase each year. Using the previous incorrect logic, we would detirmine him to increase by x10 in 5 years.
However, what would actually happen is this.

Krillin(Start):100
Krillin(End of Y1):200
Krillin(End of Y2):400
Krillin(End of Y3):800
Krillin(End of Y4):1600
Krillin(End of Y5):3200

He would double his strength each year, rather than by x10 in 5 years.
So heres where it conincides with my theory of Tienitude.

So here is what I did, I went and calculated the exact % increase in PL per day, for both training with King Kai, and a x1.5 per year increase. (You can prove the exactness using the equation down the bottom, on your own home calculator)

270 days spent training
Compared to Goku, he was there 1.6875x longer
Goku recieved an 19.23x increase in 158 days.
I have calculated that to be a +0.018889% increase per day (Used trial and error and a home programmed computer program... takes ages...)

Hmmm, well it's quite likely he did train for that year after coming back. As for Cell-Majin, he probably did train, but I don't think he trained that hard. The way I see it, if Vegeta could train all that time, so could Tien...

You can't keep the same multiplier forever...it just doesn't make sense.

Goku was training in 50g on his way to Namek, he said that if he wanted to keep doing effective training he would have to up it to 100g.

Tien has been training on earth, with Chaotzu since before the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai, he isn't going to get the same multiplier forever, it would drop dramatically after his King Kai training, it just doesn't work.

Do you think if Goku continued training at 10g he would not improve, or improve a tiny amount? Piccolo's heinous increase disproves that, and shows that gravity does not equal power.

I'm not sure what you mean at the beginning.

And no, its not fully believable. Maybe the first few years, but after awhile its not going to stay the same.

I mean that after getting training as well as he did from King Kai, any self training he did on earth would be much less useful.

Piccolo's increase was, and I've explained this about a million times already. because he had a SSJ to spar with and help teach him, same with Gohan's increase. Think of Goku as like a master for Piccolo and Gohan, although much more powerful than anyone except Old Kai.

The Piccolo thing disproves that Gravity is the main influence on Power Gain. Just so no one uses that excuse. Tien can split form, and train against himself. Don't underestimate Training against an equal partner.

As for +50% per year, let me explain it more. To be fully honest, I can see Tien quintupling his power in a year. But like Goku said, as your power increases it becomes harder to increase it more. So in the first year Tien might increase from 50,000 to 250,000(x5), and the second year, because of what Goku said, he might only manage to reach 1,000,000(x4), the third year, as it becomes progressively harder to increase, he might only manage 3,000,000(x3). Using those examples, I expect you of all people should be able to get what I am talking about. I used +50% per year, because if I state my honest opinion of x5 then people go "BOOO theres no way Tien can increase by x5 in one year"

Compare it to a video game or a sport. You start off crap, but after a while you will be much better. However, as you increase in ability, the rate at which you become better will slow down. If it didn't, a Soccor player who has played for 3 years would dominate one who had played for two and a half, and then a player who had played for 11 years would dominate one who had played for 10, when he would only have a slight advantage at best.

I would like to ask you a question. Lets say Goku is PL 1 billion when he trained Piccolo. If King Kai was also power level 1 billion, would Goku still be a better trainer(if that is what you mean to imply). What about me, if I was PL 10 billion would I be a better trainer than the Uber King Kai I mentioned before? The power level of the teacher does not matter as much as their ability to teach and the knowledge they possess.

Kami stated that he could no longer train everyone because they've gone beyond his power, and Korin states the same to Goku when he asks him to train him again. So the power level of the master actually does matter.

Yes x5 is way too much. 1.5x is too much too. You can't simply just gain half of your power level, that's ridiculous. Even a Saiyan couldn't gain that much. Maybe 1.2x and then dropping a lot every year. After the android saga Tien was probably getting around 1.03x a year.

Uh...well first of all neither of them were 1 billion. And Goku didn't do the same type of training as KK, he actually fought with them so they could continue to strive for how a SSJ would fight, none of the humans had that. If they were both 1 billion, I would say they were equal. And they are both probably better than you(unless you happen to be an expert at fighting)

King Cold? Eh, he's one of those guys I wish had more screen time, and he just looked badass :)
