Yeah that's why he can't improve, but if we treat mystic as a transformation than Gohan can improve. So theoretically if Gohan can lock his powers again he can improve but I doubt that.

because Mystic means you're at your FULL potential...is that such a hard concept to grasp? You can't improve no more, its like you can't learn anymore. You can't try to teach a bottle how to write

For a start, "mystic" is a fan term. The unlocking simply allowed Gohan to access his hidden power. Nothing about not being able to improve.

No matter how much you train, you will always reach a point, where on you can't proceed any further. All saiyans can go SSJ and further, if they meet the requirements. In other words, all saiyans have access to greater power than what they have. But the amount of power they have access to differs(SSJ is a kind of power too mind you). Since Gohan had more power he could access, Old Kai unlocked it so that he could use it without going SSJ

Did they say anything about that? I just remember something about Old Kai saying something about "releasing hidden powers" but that was it. Nothing like, "you can't get any stronger lolz".

hmm that's weird. I need to watch that part again. Everyone keeps swearing up and down that Mystic Gohan is Gohan at his full potential. I'll get back to you on this one.
