He can only go to "Mystic" level. When he powered up like he would when he was a SSJ he went "Mystic" instead. I prefered SSJ2 Cell Games Gohan's personality to be honest.

not if he goes mystic, if he went mystic as a child and couldn't turn it off I'd bet he'd remain as a child forever.

He'd still grow like an adult but just be "Mystic" forever.

"Mystic" isn't a form mate. It's his base power now. It's simply more power that replaced his Super Saiyan transformation. It isn't a transformation anymore.

if its not a transformation than according to my theory its a great disadvantage as Gohan can't grow anymore

But your theory shows that Gohan had all his potential unlocked by Guru. But he had yet more potential within him. Maybe due to his growth and/or Zenkais? It's something to keep in mind.

No, not according to Buu. But that's another matter. I don't see why Gohan couldn't continue to increase his own strength.

Nope it was stated. Dende healed Gohan after he recieved a beating from Buu. Buu says something like...

Buu: He was healed but he's power hasn't increased at all.

Madness: Because he was at his peak and if mystic isn't a transformation than technically he can't improve anymore, all he can do is find out how to apply his power better and that's very limited when you can't increase it

I don't think he could get any stronger.

if he could go to base form he could increase his power proportionally but its useless to train at your maximum potential because there are no hidden power left to develop.

"Mystic" is not a transformation. Think of it as what Guru did to Gohan and Krillen. When Gohan got he's power awakened by him did you think of that as a transformation?

Since when was training linked to hidden power? IIRC, Goku and Vegeta had no hidden power.
