Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha

At the start of DBZ when they had their power levels read by the scouter, do you think they were suppressed? Tien only had a power of 250 while Goku's (with weights) was 334, but in DB Tien was actually slightly stronger than weighted Goku in the tournament, so it doesn't make much sense that Tien would become that much weaker than him, considering how much he trains.

I think it's quite possible that Tien was suppressed along with Krillin & Yamcha. I seriously doubt that Tien would be THAT much weaker than Goku when he was previously almost his equal (With Weights anyway).

I'am priddy sure that was about the extent of their power.

Tien: 250
Krillin: 205
Yamcha: 177
Roshi: 139

Goku and Piccolo where just that much stronger than the rest.

Except how much stronger do you think Roshi full power body max is? He is the only one up till then shown to power up

Doesnt the Daizenshuu show Roshi at 139 at all times, relaxed(like when Bulma scouted him) or fighting?

I think that was just their power levels at a minimum, because none of them were actually fighting. Vegeta even tell's Nappa to discard the scouter because their power levels vary throughout. I'm pretty sure Tien should be able to take Daimao down, and he's 260 in the guide.
