Cell, a Super Saiyan?

Is it possible?

I think it is. I believe Cell reached SSj, USSj, and SSj2. We know he has Saiyan cells within him from Goku and Vegeta. Although i'm unsure if they were collected before or after Goku turned Super Saiyan on Namek. Either way, Cell could have absorbed the cells from Trunks but didn't. Why? Because he had enough Saiyan cells in order to turn Super Saiyan.

He bulks up just before Goku's sarcrifice, then returns with heavy SSj2 features (lightening, aggresive aura) when he's resurrected.

Perhaps Broly isn't the only Super Saiyan villain after all.

And don't make a "Cell should be a Z fighter" remark in the AF section lol.

I think Cell was a Super Saiyan as well, with his various auras. Gero did collect all of the cell's before they went to namek, though.

Why not? He is the "Perfect Warrior" and has all of the Genetics from the Zet-senshi.

Ha yeah Cell was a cross breed. He was a namekian, a saiyan a human and a whatever the heck Tien is (human i know)

Yeah Cell reaches the Super Saiyan levels. How else do you account for his significant power up when fighting Piccolo again and the aura change when fighting Gohan again.

It could be described as Super Saiyan. I never write it down like that when I do power levels though.

Nooooooooooo!!!! You can't be "Super Saiyan" if you are not a Saiyan.
Cell only has the Cell, thats is the reason for the similars Auras. The Cell transform would be thanks to Freeza cells.

Cell is a Super Saiyan for definite...he received almost everything else of a Saiyan so why not the Super Saiyan adaption too? His aura from his Imperfect Form stage One suggests it, as well as he aura in his Perfect Form.

As well, his power was phenomenal; being a a Saiyan or having being born Saiyan cells make Cell in some way or form a Saiyan. Thats established, now being a:
-Human
-Changeling
-Namekian

alone wouldn't give Cell the huge power he has of being above the likes of Super Saiyans. The power level he has proves he was using Super Saiyan power, not that he was a Super Saiyan. Look at this for instance Andorid 19, the fat pure faced freak that managed to absorb both Vegeta's and Son Goku's SUPA SAIYA-JIN energy; this wouldn't make him a Super Saiyan. Same with Cell. His had the physical power of a Super Saiyan, but he isn't one.

Erm to make myself clearer in realife terms. A Black male enters a hospital for a blood transfusion; me and he receives the blood of a Caucasian male: Madness. That wouldn't make me white...just a black guy with a white persons blood.

BV with Madness' cells wouldn't make me white; get my drift.

I disagree. Cell is Saiyan at the genetic level. It's in his DNA.

Probably less. They are 50-50 Saiyan Human, while he is Saiyan-Human-Namek-Frieza, he could be 25-25-25-25?

And no he did not get any DNA from a SSJ capable Saiyan, only from Goku, Nappa, and Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga.
