Piccolo at the beginning of Z wasn't far from Tien so he was able to surpass him.

Have Tien wish for immortality, then have him train for OVER 9000! years. Then he might surpass a Super Saiyan.

Hell, Tien at end of Z could have surpassed Kamiccolo for all we know, Piccolo was equally if not more useless than Tien in the Majin Saga.

What I am saying, is that if you want to convince me that these outdated ideas of human inferiority are true, you will need to present evidence to say he could "never surpass Piccolo or any SSJ"

Of course he could, hell, with 9000 years of training I could surpass Piccolo as well. Show me proof it isnt possible that Tien could surpass a SSJ

Yeah, just like Tien surpassed Saiyan saga Vegeta during the Androids arrival. I'm talkin about in that same saga, Tien was never more powerful then Piccolo. To say he is, means, you're simply ignoring things. How exactly would Tien surpass Piccolo in the Buu saga, again?

How about you prove Tien would surpass a SSJ training on basic gravity by himself?

How is Tien going to become as powerful as a SSJ with havin Chaitzu as his only sparring partner? He even decided not to enter the rosat, yet he can somehow be more powerful then a SSJ?

SSJ is too generic and there is no set power level for it, so your argument is still flawed.

Tien simply stated he was useless, and wouldn't even matter when he had the chance to train. It was ten days at that point anyway, so he wouldn't have been wasting valuable time.

Edit: I did not say that the Saiyans and Piccolo could not overtake Tien after he surpassed him. But the questioned was can humans ever surpass a Super Saiyan, and I believe the answer to be yes.

Heres one cheap ass piece of proof, #18 and #17 are cybernetically enhanced humans and they beat the pants off Vegeta and Co.
