I've never heard of the 'Tien being an Alien theory'. Hmm.
I always assumed he was human and just Z World had different types of humans.
Are the dogs and cat people in Z Earth counted as humans...or animals? Like the King or the Dog Cop in Saiyan Saga?

Question: Was Choutzu's power level stated in the Saiyan saga prior to the 1 year training? I remember Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Roshi's were, but I don't remember if Choutzu was.

Super Tien is correct. Tien obtained the third eye through extreme meditation when he first developed the Tri-Beam technique.

Chouzu has Websters disease and Tien paints his face everyday because he used to get his face painted by his clown parents at every Big Top Circus event the family held. Unfortunately Tien is the only family Chouzu has left since he killed his parents in a freak flying trapeze accident. ;)

Krillin could be seen as an alien or alternate race, he has no nose and is short.

Some how he looses his monk burns on his forehead in the boo arc.

Maybe Krillin's mom had a milk allergy and krillin was born with out a nose.

haha that's the thing, Toriyama has an amazing imagination with his asian influences. From chinese mythology and the such. Early dragonball he was a magical boy with a tail and there where demons and furry animal men, then it turned mythical magical funny to Science fiction action.

Now that I think of it, Chiatzou does look like one of those chinese vamps. Now, I now this may sound dumb, but is Chichi really a human? Didn't the Ox King guy say something about being a demon in Dragonball?

If Chi-Chi had some supernatural blood in her wouldn't it show. Apart from her being crazay sometimes there's no indication of her being anything other than completely human(even in battle).

I thought the demon thing about Ox King was just a rumour, a way of scaring of people.
