Why does Dabura kill Piccolo when told to kill all but the 3 strongest?

He had the chance to spit on Piccolo so he took it. He killed Kabito straight away, but was told to keep the supreme kai alive. It would have been abit of a let down if one of the saiyans got killed straight away, just as things were heating up. Piccolo was barely used in the buu saga, hence why they didnt mind turning him into stone for abit. Definitely not weaker than base gohan, that's just laughable.

Piccolo managed to hold off a Cell Jr for a while, do you think Semi Perfect Cell could hold off a Cell Jr? He'd get eliminated in seconds...This is the way I see it..

Semi Cell: 1,800,000,000 (Powered Up)
Piccolo: 3,950,000,000 (Cell Games)
Cell Jr: 5,000,000,000

I didn't think we saw him fighting his Cell Jr really in the manga? I assume you're referring to the anime?

If so there is absolutely no way for us to tell how strong he is.

In the anime even yamcha was able to hit a Cell JR......overll i put piccolo above imperfect cell with the humans

I think you see him fighting one in the background, but no real indication of how he fares against it.

Piccolo was shown fighting one in the background, but Cell only stated Vegeta & Trunks were holding their own against them. They were also playin around, so they could've wiped Piccolo out if they wanted.

I would really like to think Piccolo is stronger, but Babidi did say "kill all but the 3 strongest and Supreme Kai", if Piccolo's base was like 5x Goku or Vegeta base, then why was he killed? It doesn't make any sense, as far as they know Piccolo was by far the strongest, and so they would want to take his energy over that of the Saiyans. Did Dabura ever show the ability to sense power levels?

sweet if Dabura couldn't sense ki then perhaps base Piccolo is stronger. But he did sense the evil in Vegeta didn't he?
