Just thought I'd add some input here, since I like the Cell Arcs.

Piccolo could've easily surpassed Stage Two Cell. Vegeta and Trunks never trained together, so Piccolo being by himself in the chamber is irrelevant in determining his power afterwards. But if we take Piccolo's statement into consideration, then it does hint to the possibility that Piccolo was somewhere around Cell's stage two power or Complete Cell's suppressed state. He says after exiting the RoSaT that he "still can't do much against Cell", referring to Cell's current state: Complete. Now he knows Cell's power and saw it in action when Trunks fought him, so he pretty much knows Cell's power range right now. This means Piccolo is probably around Vegeta's 2nd Grade state, post 1st RoSaT run. This seems to be the case to me.

Vegeta & Trunks never trained together? Are you referring to the second session or the first? If the first, they surely did train. Trunks even stated that Vegeta knew it would be more effective to train through sparring then to train alone; they also experienced similiar effects within there training.

I'm not sayin they trained with each other the entire time, but they did train together in the rosat at some point. It makes no sense for them to experience the same effects (or nearly except for SSJ Type 3) and be able to display it. Trunks even talked about Vegeta's training like he experienced it the entire time.

Theres not much evidence to show how strong Piccolo is by the end of Z. Only thing I can think of, is that he is weaker than Base Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan as Dabura killed Piccolo and spared the 3 strongest fighters

Nah Piccolo is definitely stronger than base saiyans.

It's only at the end of dbz is where Base Goku surpasses Piccolo
