No one directly said it but its obvious to everyone. The strain in the SSJ form was incredibly large(LEAVE BEFORE I EXPLODE IN RAGE!!!- Goku said something like that to Gohan), since it was his first transformation, and we know that he could barely stand and move and even though you try to denie it, it is perfectly logical to everyone that he can't be battle-ready in matter of seconds if he hasn't been "healed" by the transformation itself, and with the enormous strain in the form.

And it's obvious to everyone that:

he wasn't that badly injured; he stood on his own before the transformation.

the "strain" was rage.

Your only evidence that he could "barely" stand is one panel where he had just gt out of the water. He stands just fine after that.

Its wrong because SSJ Trunks was training with Base Gohan with no hand. Base gohan would have to be a lot over 150,000,000, and we know that thats not possible, since he would far surpass level of Goku he was dreaming of surpassing. Thats clear contradiction.

Not to mention it would be impossible for him to get 1000 times stronger since Frieza saga while training on Earth and with no partner to train with.

Also, Toriyama wasn't doing power level at that point in the series. Why would he look out for mistakes like that? King Piccolo said he was either ten times or a hundred times stronger than his old self when he wished to be young again. That doesn't make sense if you think about later parts in the series.
