Actually, that's a good point. It's evidence of the little things that we we miss when we view the manga/anime.

I suppose they were only given part of Cell's abilities. He couldn't give them all of it

Cell jr. can't regenerate because Gohan complety destroy them.
In other situation they would regenerate.

He split them in half. That wasn't destroying them. They could've regenerated from that, given the chance.

Looking at it, they seemed more like a Shadow Clone than anything. They disentegrated from a blow of suffiencient power. Vegeta and Trunks couldn't do that.

When Perfect Cell kicked Krillin, he should have broke apart just like the Cell Juniors, that would have been awesome.

Obviously Krillin isn't as brittle as the Chibi Cells.

Well if you notice when Gohan kills them he elbows/kicks them in the head and that's where Cell's "Nucleus" is so I think its the same for the Cell Juniors. Gohan was just soooooooo much stronger than them it wasn't even funny so he could've just destroyed the cluster of Cells in the Cell Juniors' heads.

How about Son Gohan's high ki flow made them explode, leaving them unable to regenerate! As the newly transformed Son Gohan was engulfed with ki; making the impact of his hits simular to Ki blasts.
