Lightbulb SS or SSJ?
O.K what i know is that SS means super saiyan. ssj means super saiyan japanese. so why even say ssj. if im wrong by the J part meaning japanese plz dont flame. but if thats what it means why not just say SS?

It was adapted as Super Saiyan because many would rather say that instead of the "Super Saiya-Jin" term. The english version referred to it as Super Saiyan, and many subtitles from the original just refer to it as Super Saiyan to prevent confusion in my opinion. I believe in short, it's better to be referred to as SSJ.

Hey SuperSaiyanJERICHO. Welcome to MFG Forums. "SSJ" refers to "Super Saiya-Jin". The "-Jin" is a Japanese suffix used to describe "man/being". Nameks are called "Namek-jins".

Yay! A new n00b! Welcome to the board friend!

SSj is the original abbreviation for Super Saiya-jin (pronounced "Soup-ah Sai-ya-jean" in Japanese). I also prefer SSj, however many dub fans I notice seem to prefer SS.
