Anyways back on topic.

SSJ is used more than SS because SS is the abbreviation for Schutzstaffel (Protective Force), and because Super Saiya-jin sounds cooler than Super Sayian.

SSJ is better, plus SS is an acronym for many other things. SSJ is unique.

And did you know there's a place called Gas Chamber where you can spam all day long? I think Madness is a very contributing member in the anime sections and outside of them. Because that seems to be like your default insult towards anyone who joined later than you.

Anyway, on the matter of topic I remember using both of them. SS can have many more meanings and can be more easily confused when not talking about Dragonball (SS nazi's

, Soul Society?) while SSj is hard to confuse. I preferred SS first, but now I'm starting to use SSj more.
