Let’s interpret the 18 vs. Mighty Mask fight - Trunks states, “it’s hard to move”, but even while saying this, he is still able to block all of #18’s attacks. Goten states “he can’t see”, and he has to do the moving for both of them, this is the reason why 18 was able to land a punch when she flew above them. Trunks, then states, “We‘ll never win like this!”, this meaning they can’t win with them fighting the way they are, he isn’t referencing SSJ, as Goten suggests going SSJ after his statement, and Trunks replies with “Well…I guess no one will notice”. They turn SSJ to increase their succession rate, but Trunks still says they’re at a disadvantage, because the handicaps they experienced are still in tact, so he plans to go with chi blasts first. Goten worries and asks him if he’s sure, is that suitable dialog for someone whose knows he’s several times weaker than their opponent? Trunks tries to reassure him it won’t kill #18, but Goten is still not convinced, and tells him not to use full power, only to get “I know” from Trunks. Was Trunks never planning to use full power? Perhaps, but either way, Goten’s doubt goes in their favor. #18 is still looking straight at them, and despite her seeing of Trunks charging a chi blast, she is still surprised, and barely dodges the blast herself. It is later revealed that surprise was due to the speed of the blast when this question is asked, “Y-You’ve got to be kidding me…That speed…That power…Are those twits really that good?” In no way does she imply they are only good when considering they are twits, the way the she talks about their power is in simple disbelief they’re that good, and remember that wasn’t even full power. Would a power level barely in the millions really get that reaction from the powerful warrior #18 and someone who can’t feel chi? You can claim she ended the match because they could destroy the city and that chi blast wasn’t dangerous to her, so why didn’t she take or block the blast? #18 continues to prove me right with this following quote, “In that case, I better end this quick”, then this is followed by getting them disqualified. Notice the words “In that case”, it means if they weren’t so strong (the case), she wouldn’t had to resort to disqualifying and would’ve simply beaten them.

I could probably higher Trunks and Goten cause they did pretty well, but then again 18 did pound them into the ring floor twice, and Mighty mask had to resort to energy blasts, cause they couldnt handle 18 hand to hand. |

You obviously read nothing I posted: 1.) Trunks states, “it’s hard to move”, but even while saying this, he is still able to block all of #18’s attacks. Goten states “he can’t see”, and he has to do the moving for both of them, this is the reason why 18 was able to land a kick when she flew above them. 2.) Trunks, then states, “We‘ll never win like this!”, this meaning they can’t win with them fighting the way they are, he isn’t referencing SSJ, as Goten suggests going SSJ after his statement, and Trunks replies with “Well…I guess no one will notice”. They turn SSJ to increase their succession rate, but Trunks still says they’re at a disadvantage, because the handicaps they experienced are still in tact, so he plans to go with chi blasts first. This discussion is still about Gotenks, as your underrating of Goten and Trunks causes your Gotenks to be underrated, as well. |
