Lets go into this:

Goku tells Majin Buu to wait because "a fighter stronger than me will appear". Now, if we assume that Goku would know that the boys could go SSJ in the fusion, or even have a SSJ fusion, that would point to him stating that SSJ Gotenks is more powerful than SSJ3 Goku. Furthermore, seeing as you all put the SSJ multiplier so low, we can hypothesise that base Gotenks would be around SSJ2 level.

I use a 10x multiplier, you think that is so low? It makes SSJ Gotenks on par with SSJ3 Goku.

Yeah Goku does state it, so it might be true, but then again he could be saying it to make Fat Buu wait around for a good challenge.

SSJ2 Gohan > base Gotenks > SSJ Goku

SSJ3 Goku > base Gogeta > SSJ2 Goku

Base Gotenks isnt anywhere near SSJ2 Goku's league, Base Gogeta is only a little bit stronger than SSJ2 Goku.

But I guess that Is down to my multipliers.
