Doubt it. It's never stated, but I suppose that he's presumably in his 50's or 60's when he dies.

Well I'd say since he looked exactly the same when he killed Bardock as he did on Namek I'd say his life-span is alot longer than a human's but I don't think its ONE THOUSAND years.

The fact is simple, that number came from nowhere. No official source of information has such an age for him, so even if by some slim chance you are correct, since there is absolutely no information supporting it, you can't go around spouting it as fact.

I always figured that he was around 100 or so years old, but since his race ages slower than humans/Saiyans I'd say he's in his thirties when compared to human years.
