The only problem with those calculations is that Goku didn't run the entire Serpent Road. Not only was he shown flying half of the time, but the rest of the time he was leaping whole sections of the road. The road is one million kilometers, but it's a winding road. If you jump straight, instead of running the entire road (turns and all), you skip a lot of the distance.

And yes, Goku is shown flying most of the time:

1-Speculation?!? I use a formula that pioneers in science came up with and has been tested over and over again, and absolutely everything I say is straight from the manga and supported by the manga. You are the under-dog. I have both logos and ethos, and yet you have the gall to call my theory "pure speculation"?!

2-Look at the road: It isn't that winded; just curving inward about 50 ft or so. And Goku is still generally following it's course even when hopping. There is no reason to believe he wouldn't cover the entire road at his top speed in 3 hours. Consider the fact he was hopping and jogging most of the time. That only goes to show he'd be even faster with all-out bukujutsu. And I'd like to remind you he didn't want to fly too much because he was saving his chi. That's why he was so tired.

It took Goku 6 months to cover 1 million kilometers at 416. There are 30 days in each month and 24 hours in each day. If he turns out slower than Roshi than he apparently got very tired very fast and fluctuated in speed.

I wasn't talking about your theory in general (although a lot of it is based on speculation), I was talking about this statement: "and it was obviously within the range of a few seconds."

That right there is only an observation made by you, and is not a fact. What do we call that? Speculation. And speculation makes for a weak theory.

Regardless of the length of the curves or not, since it does in fact curve, and Goku jumps around them, we can't accurately calculate his speed on the return trip.

And did you look at the scans I posted? He was flying most of the time. All of the other times, he was leaping and skipping part of the road. And why would he conserve energy if he knew he was going to eat a senzu after?

Was it said that Goku never stopped to rest? I doubt he ran 24 hours a day, so again, we can't get an accurate speed for him.

Well, the speed of light is 186,000 mph. Goku was </=333,333 kmh (which would be slightly lower in mph). He surpassed the speed of light; and it isn't even necessary to do the math for Gotenks of all people.

Check your facts. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. According to your (flawed) calculations, he was flying at about 207,123 miles per hour.

You failed to address my previous post.

He's clearly skipping large sections of the Serpent Road when he jumps (when he's not flying, of course), so he most certainly didn't fly/hop 1,000,000 kilometers in 3 hours. There is no way you can make an accurate speed for the return trip.
