@Chibi: They wouldn't need infinite potential, doing the math, to reach the speed of light anyway. I already calculated that they would in the climax of the Freeza saga and if Goku is moving hundreds of mph with a power-level of 8,000, than it's even sooner.

Exactly, Freeza said he "powered-up" The manga said it, the damn anime said it and showed him going all out and the Daizenshuu supports it. The Daizenshuu quote is from Daizenshuu 2 all battles section pg. 10.

You just keep repeating yourself. Gohan stated that Freeza's current power was far from what he was capable of. It wasn't even a huge explosion like he did when he was at 50% power.

Just cause Freeza didn't power-up he is holding back? What nonsense, Jeece and Butta were holding back against Goku then? Goku against 50% Freeza was holding back since he didn't power-up.

The Manga shows Freeza going all out against Trunks, the anime even showed him going all out (even tried to vaporize the planet in the process) and the Daizenshuu ALWAYS needs to be involved cause it's DRAGONBALL.

I can understand where you're coming from, but that is simply Roshi jogging. You haven't considered the fact he catches bullets from a machine gun (500 mph+) and the fact he and Kuririn escaped the audiences eye-sight. And last time I checked, a car going 64 mph isn't going to completely escape my eye-sight (at all).

See, remember when Piccolo said they could release their chi in "one tremendous burst"...? Running is not nearly reflective of their overall speed. And Goku proved bukujutsu was much quicker and more fuel efficent than running when he was in a hurry to get back from Snake-Way. Speaking of Goku, he'd have to be 210,000 mph to escape the gravity of Kaio's planet so we both need to re-work everything.

Also, I'd like to know by how much you increased the speed. Was it literally 1 digit at a time...? I did 1.09x and multiplyed that by ten for simplicity.

That's enough for us to know Freeza was far from his full-power, or the explosion would've been more powerful. Stop with the Jeice & Burter comparison, since neither could suppress their power or do anything like that; they battle with the power they have.
