I really doubt such a statement is meant to be taken literally. Not that the little bios in the Daizenshuu even mean much to me (I only bought the books because of the concept art and whatnot).

And what do you mean "of course he'll reach a limit"?! It's implied that half-Saiyans are better than full Saiyans in the series.

Anyway, the fact that Gohan reached a limit tells me that they don't have to reach light speed, among the thousand other reasons I've stated in this thread.

Why do you keep ignoring my points?

1) Gohan said Freeza wasn't using all of his power
2) Freeza says that it would take him 30 seconds to power up to 100% when he was at 75% (based on Gohan saying that he could ge "much, much" stronger (he says it twice in Japanese), he could have been lower than 50% for all we know, meaning up to a minute of power up time!
3) Freeza was never shown powering up for 30 seconds, let alone for one second.
4) Freeza never bulked up

1.That's bull cause Freeza himself said he was powered up and the Daizenshuu says he was more powerful with his mechanical form THAN Namek freeza.

2. Power-ups don't mean nothing, with your logic Burta and Jece were holding back against Goku cause they didn't have this power-up.

You are ignoring the manga. Sure he had more power, but he could have had more power at 50%. And he did. He never had the chance to go to 100%. If you say he did you are going against the manga and the canon.

Where does Freeza say he "powered-up?" It's another quote you've taken to the edge of literal, really. Freeza stated this: "Since I've grown even more powerful", that's about it.

That'll be like, if Goku gets more powerful in his base form, and says such. How could this awesome new power be significant if he doesn't use his SSJ transformation? Try to be rational, Ultima, instead of dismissing everything you don't believe in. It's stupid.
