An increase in Power to speed does not always mean an increase in speed.

Think of the relationship between SSJ and USSJ.
USSJ is an increase in power from regular SSJ but the speed of it is less than of a SSJ...why is this? Even though the power is increased the speed isnt..

Assumptions...? More like fact.

Your explanations are frivolous. Even with your "trump-card" raw translation my arguement is supported. Burter is the ONLY example you have to discredit this and I've already explained how he was genetically altered and that he trained himself to only improve his speed (something which isn't exactly new. See Piccolo and Goku's weighted training). Speed ALWAYS increases with power:

-Piccolo v. 3rd form Freeza: thought he could escape
-Vegeta: dodged the death beam simply because he was stronger
-Cell v. 16: They were dead even, but when he absorbed 17 he completely outsrtipped him in both power and speed.
-Even in the Boo saga Toriyama remembers to implement this (Gohan v. Fat Boo).

Zarbon was between 1.09-1.14x weaker than Vegeta and he looked as though he were "standing still". And that's not even 2x weaker. Vegeta dodged point-blank chi blasts while off-guard at the last second effortlessly against Kiwi. Someone who is twice as strong is actually going to be waaay more than twice as fast. Brush up on your math peeps.

And lastly, you cannot deny them going faster than the speed of light because according to you, they eventually no longer gain a speed advantage (which contradicts a firmly, well-established principle in the series). I already calculated that Goku and Freeza reach the speed of light at the pinnacle of their battle. Are you going to claim no one gets any faster after that??? So the "impossiblity" thing is out the window too.

Yes, power increases with speed. That's obvious.

What isn't obvious is if it's a linear relationsjip or how much faster someone needs to be to qualify for "standing still".

Asafa Powell(World 100 meter running champ)
Power Level=5
Runs 100 meters in=9.74 seconds
Speed=10.2 meters per second

Using your theory of power level increase=equal boost to strength and speed, Master Roshi should run at 283.56 meters per second. OR, Asafa Powell should run at 0.6 meters per second....


However...


Now lets assume for a second that your theory is correct, you would then need(based on Roshi's speed) a power level 2,458,475,024 of to reach the speed of light (299,792,458 meters per second)

Someone double check the maths for me, I think there may be some mistake

299,792,458 / 16.95 = 17686870 (this is how many times faster the speed of light is than Master Roshi.

17686870*139=2,458,475,024 (this is the theoretical power level to reach the speed of light?)

EDIT: Does anyone know what Goku's time was? Wasn't his PL 10 and his time like 11 seconds or something?

Where, exactly? After flipping through the book, I couldn't find a section on Jheese' Crusher Ball.

But still, I doubt it used the term "[/i]haipaa supiido[/i]" or anything. But even if it did, what does that prove? Who says hyper speed means light speed, exactly? I've only seen you claim that.

To the topic at hand, the Saiya-jins are stated to have infinite potential so they can go lightspeed and above. That right there is canon fact and common sense. It would be ridiculous to say otherwise.
