New Dragonball Z Special coming Fall 2008

This year's 21st issue (released on April 21) of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that a "Jump Super [COLOR=blue! important][COLOR=blue! important]Anime[/color][/color] Tour" will visit 10 Japanese cities this fall with new anime specials for Dragon Ball and One Piece. The tour is the eighth project that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the magazine. The magazine also hints that at least one other title will also be animated.

Thats not too far from when the movie comes out, im looking forward to it.

Well the movie is coming out in April so im sure theyll want to dub it to get some extra publicity for the film.

In relation to my other post, the earlier crossover is One Piece and Dragonball z. So there is one that does exist already that most of has have not seen.

This week’s issue of the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump reportedly reveals that this year’s “Jump Super Anime Tour” will visit 9 Japanese cities and screen exclusive new short anime films of Dragon Ball and One Piece.
This will be the first new Dragon Ball anime released since the end of the Dragon Ball GT television series in November 1997. (That “lost” or obscure “new” Dragon Ball anime you’ve heard that a friend of a friend’s second-cousin has seen doesn’t exist.)

This is what they say on animenation.com....so this is gonna be probbaly a litlle special nothing more i doubt that they will make a whole new anime

I guess Toriyama and Oda must be pretty close because they recently did Cross-Epoch.

So they're doing another DBZ movie special then ay? It really sounds great to me. I'll be looking forward to this more than the actual live-action movie. Sure, the live action movie might be entertaining to watch, but we've all seen it before.

They're gonna make SSJ5 or some kind of crazy fusion I bet, it's the best way to attract people.

And I'll bet anything Goku saves the day again.

I sure hope not. SSj5 would be a disaster. But I would also be willing to bet that they would make Goku the hero again. Because you know, it's been like 10 years since GT ended, so I don't think they're gonna have someone else be the hero after such a long interval.
