Yeah they will almost definitely make Goku the hero again for reasons Broly stated. And really I won't mind as long as the movie itself is good.

Goku's supposed to be the main character of Dragon Ball, so it's only natural that he would emerge the hero here in this new movie special, but it would be cool if they at least had Vegeta or Gohan play a vital role in Goku's spotlight, you know? Because I'm tired of seeing Goku save everybody's ass, kill all the main bad guys, and have god-like supremacy over many of his allies and enemies. It just sucks. So this time around, I hope they give the other characters a good chance for at least a good show against the main villain, even if they don't kill the bad guy. It's only fair. Plus that's what we the fans want. I'm also interested to see the villain in this one.

Yeah they should give the other characters a shot as well, but I personally would rather have Goku be the main hero (though not have him hog all the spotlight). As much as I want Vegeta to do so, we all know it won't happen. The only other possibility is for Gohan to be the hero, and well I quite abhor him after the Cell Games. But yeah since Goku is the main character of th series, he will probably be th "hero" of the movie.

I haft to disagree about not having SSj5. I think that there should be one more level, I mean, if you have ever looked at Goku SSj4, it just looks like he could go to another level.
But I do hope theres another hero. Goku saving the day is getting kind of old.

No Ssj5 please! Blimey! For a few reasons.

If it's a DBZ special then there won't even be Ssj4 due to it being a DBGT thing. The highest they'll be is Ssj3.

If Ssj5 is introduced then only one character will get it, Goku. Yeah let's give the guy more attention... thats a good idea right? Goku clearly will already have the spotlight, so lets try and reduce the amount of spotlight and give other characters a chance.

Oh that sounds great! It's been such a long time since they had a new DBZ Movie. So would it be like a DBZ Movie 14? I wonder when it will take place? I have a feeling it will take place sometime between the ten year gap of the Buu Saga and the last episodes of DBZ. Or maybe takes place after the ending of DBZ, but before DBGT.

I just hope it's a DBZ Movie and not a DBGT Movie!

Did they say a Dragonball Z movie or a Dragonball movie? As if they said simply "Dragonball" then it could be referring to any of the three series. Personally I hope its Drgaonball Z, but some part of me wants a better resolution with regards to what happens in GT. Still overall I'd prefer a DBZ movie special. Who knows sicne its a special it might very well be about Future Trunks... But I think that if its a DBZ special then it'll most likely be in the 10 year gap between DBZ and DBGT.

It will probably just a remake of DB with better animation like that special remake of Dragon Ball with DBGT animation.

Though I would love to see a DBGT special.

well i personally like goku dominating every1, and also other characters get plenty of chances to kill the bad guy. Gohan had plenty of chances to kill Buu, and Vegeta had a lot of chances also, but let his pride get to him. And Also, i hope theres no SSJ5 cuz that would just b queer, but im fine with SSJ4 considering it looks awesome
