Well I might have a solution. The Supreme Kai was beaten down by Buu but actually did about the same as SSJ Gohan. So I think that despite Supreme Kai being so weak he can prove to be quite resilient. Perhaps the Kai's share that trait (Since they're really "Lords") perhaps South Kai put up a decent fight in terms of strength but Kid Buu just got tired of South Kai getting up and just absorbed him. I guess its possible. This would also make Darthvenom's theory fit even better.

Yeah, there are alot of examples of this, Another is Vegeta (18,000) taking blows from Kaioken x3 Goku (24,000+), which is over 1.33x difference. The weary Base Goku taking hits from 50% Freiza after he launched a Kaioken x20 Kamehameha at him.

It's rather easy. When Shin Buu reverted back to Chibi Buu, he went through the Buff stage, when Kibitoshin was telling his story he said ''The strongest and bravest Kaioshin, the South one was absorbed'' then the elder Kaioshin says ''Then he became like the hulking Buu we just saw?'' Kibitoshin answers ''Yes'' You are probably reading a fanslation as in the site you're reading the manga, the translation is not done well at all. If someone here as a scanner or the original version, I'm pretty sure their version of the story is very similar to mine.

Actually, they've completely mistaken these lines, Elder Kaioshin never talked about Fat Buu in that statement but he talked about Buff Buu. That page is completely mistranslated.

Shin definitely makes his reference to SK after Shin talks about him being absorbed; he says "Buu just turned into that giant", and Shin agrees. He then talks about the other Kaioshin being absorbed, turning him into the other Buu.
