I think he got smart her, and told her she better shut-up if she knows what's good for her or something. I hated how none of them could tell that was Ginyu, the same with Goku.

I'm not against Popo somehow gaining SSJ like power over a long period of time. But, yeah; if there was ever a top ten worst filler of the series moment, that would be right there.

I tend to look at Goku's "purity" as more of an innocence.
Because he's not entirely pure, maybe 99%; but not 100%. But that's just my opinion.

When I saw that part, I actually enjoyed it myself. I was really pulling for a human character, like Krillin, to do something useful, which that seemed to be, in the world of filler that is.
