Certain things like, Gohan's birthday and other things can make it confusing, which would make it easy to regard the picnic as filler. I almost forgot myself.

Well you see, I use to be a fanboy myself, and I started watching GT first, then the movies then Z then DB, then when I knew the difference is I picked up on the manga. So I went backwards insted of starting from the begining.

I was the exact same way. Which is why I didn't know as much before. The differences between the two are major in my opinion. I still like some of the filler from the anime, though.

Yea but some are very annoying, like the drawn out gohan super saiyan 2 transformation in the cell games, and the drawn out super kakarrot saiyan 3 transformation in the buu arc.

Those were pretty annoying. But, I liked the earlier ones, such as; Gohan kickin Freeza's (fourth form) ass, when Goku was supposedly in the lava, or, when Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chaitzu went into that special room, that let them go back some 30 years, so they could fight those Saiyans.

Ahh, yes and no...I didn't like the whole gohan going after frieza again, but kinda liked them being in that room...for me the jury is still out on that one.

You didn't like Gohan's brave attempt at fighting Freeza? He actually scared Freeza enough, for him to go back into his 100% form just to be safe. I always liked when Gohan had an outburst and kicked someones ass.

Yea those bursts were good, but I didn't like that frieza reverted from his 100% back to...wasn't it 75% before?

I think it was 70%, if I remember. That just made Freeza look like a coward if anything. Also; remember when Vegeta was revived, he opposed SSJ Goku & Freeza? It looked like he was going to blast both of them, but he suddenly disappeared. That was cool.

I remember being under the impression that it would've actually finished Freeza off. I don't know why I thought that?

Nah...but it would have pissed frieza off though, if he had gotten that blast off before he disappeared.

Remember when Ginyu the frog, switched with Bulma, then nearly switched with Piccolo. That was probably the worst filler, ever.
