20th Century fox is making a DBZ movie. The director for it is a guy named James Wong.

Yeah, I know. I remember the same thing. Personally, I don't want a dbz movie. Feel like they'll mess it up.

I don't think a live action movie could ever give the feel of the manga and anime have but I still think it might be fun to watch. Don't know if it will be a big hit though. It should be done in Japanese imo.

For all you fans that are dreading this movie, there is one good thing to look forward to:

There will be an explosion of DBZ merchandise: figures, games, cards, apparal.... you name it. What's your views on the upcoming movie?

When is this thing happening? Last I heard, it was cancelled or something [*-)] Well if this movie does get released I'll be seeing it opening day (unless it's straight to dvd) but I just hope there's no cheesy effects and they actually put time and effort into it.

It's supposed to be directed by James Won, the guy who does "The One" and "Final Desitination"
