Here is an interview with James Marsters about dbzlam and being piccolo

What is the difference between the original and the live-action movie ?
JM: Definitely the story of this movie is different from the original. But it’s a necessary change because we need to condense the long story of the original for a movie. For example, some characters in the original don’t appear in the movie. And we try to give it a more gritty and graphic (realistic) feeling.
Though there are differences between the two, I think it is all right if the core part of Dragonball remains. I let my son watch the anime’s Dragonball, DBZ and DBGT since he was eight years old. At first, I thought it was too violent, but I realized this is the best show for training to become a true man. True men need not to flaunt themselves. Their calm, gentle and modest but when it comes to the crunch they don’t hesitate to kill the enemy, and I think that’s what Goku is.
Goku is a real man. I know my son received such a message and applied it to his own life. My son doesn’t use violence to others, but he isn’t afraid of his own anger. I think it’s an important thing.
How many hours does it take to apply the make-up?
JM: It takes about four hours. Luckily, my make-up artist is very chatty, we have a lot of chat during the make up.
Please tell us the most remarkable scene in the movie, especially action scenes!
JM: It is the last battle after all! I like playing the battle scene. When I worked for a TV show for seven years, every Friday I fought till sun rise, I felt I would never have such a good time again until now. In addition, I have never gotten terribly hurt (laugh).
Do you talk with other co-stars as well?
JM: When I have a problem, I have a talk with Justin [Chatwin]. At first, we worried about the costumes. We thought it should reflect the spirit of the original, we persisted this through to the producers. We didn’t want to make our characters beautiful and safe. I talked with Justin, and he agreed with me. So did the director.
What do you care about in acting for this movie?
JM: That’s a good question. Speaking of Piccolo, one word comes into my mind, it’s “loneliness”. Piccolo is always floating in the air in the beautiful landscape, but he never even admires the landscape, he is only thinking or musing and staring at his feet. I think that is a characteristic of piccolo more than anything else.
Maybe it must be a characteristic for revenge. He hates himself and blames the people who has trapped him. His desire to kill not only them but their family, furthermore to destroy the city and the planet they live and protect. To get revenge is everything to him. Everything.
How was shooting in Durango?
JM: The desert of Durango is very cold at night (laugh). I was luckily wearing armor, but Goku was freezing at the beginning of shooting. The local people are very kind and get along with us. Besides they love to party very much! If I didn’t have work, I would be willing to join them. They are drinking and singing songs until 4:30 a.m. But I need to sleep for the shooting the next day, after all so I changed the hotel to get away from the partying people.
Finally, please give us a message to our readers in Japan.
JM: Japan is beautiful. Thank you for giving Dragonball to us! It’s an important show to us all and I want you to watch it, especially the young people. I thank the show for a lot of good times with my son. I’ll do my best to meet the high expectations the fans have.

Yea his hair is what gets me the most, who's idea is that? I mean common, yamcha never had blonde hair... that's rediculous. And what about master roshi, they should have it look like master roshi. REDICULOUS!!!

Also when is Tien and Krillin going to be in it? NEVER? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Dragonballz movie 2 ,
Roshi senses the saiyans coming to earth and sends goku to train with the ledgendary warriors of earth in the heavenly sky island.
Radditz(Hugh Jackman), nappa (Goldberg) , and Vegeta(Ray Park)come to earth (in one ship).Yamcha and Piccolo team up to fight the saiyans. Goku reaches sky island to be taught by karin(danny devito),kami (morgan freeman)and king kai (jackie chan) (the legendary masters of earth the also tell him they can not help earth for they are bound to heaven sky island)Then he come back to defeat radditz nappa, and Vegeta after using the kamikarin-kaioken. In the battle , yamcha died fighting Radditz,and nappa kills piccolo, thus the dragonballs are gone.Vegeta becomes great ape, but master roshi cuts off Vegeta's tail with a kamehameha. Vegeta gets into his space ship and flies off after being defeated. Roshi and bulma take goku to hospital. Kami/kingkai/karin telepathically tell Goku, roshi, and bulma that vegeta is heading for namek, and that there are more dragonballs there. Kami also tells them about the namekian ship to fly them to namek. Kami sends a creature named po to fly them there. They get into the ship and take off, end of movie 2.


Dragonballz 3

Movie starts off with Vegeta as the spotlight character. He runs into Zarbon , dodoria,and several other of freeza's fighters. Vegeta kills all of them except Zarbon, Vegeta has the upper hand until zarbon transforms and knocks vegeta out and takes him to be punished by freeza.
Bulma, Goku, Roshi, and po land on namek.

Once landing they are discovered by a little namekain named dende.

He takes them to his village, where they meet the warrior Nail(.

Nail tales them he is the last of they nameks warriors as they have all been killed by the evil ginyu force.

Goku tells nail about what happened on earth and that he needs the dragonballs to wish yamcha back to life. Nail says the ginyu force have the balls. Goku and nail go to confont the ginyu force.

Goku and nail defeat the ginyu force.

The ginyu force had 3 balls. Bulma,roshi,denede and po went to find another 3 balls. They use their radar and find it that they are in a ship(freeza's ship). Nail tells goku he is going to get his dragonball from a secret hiding place.
They enter and are all inprisioned with aweak vegeta. Zarbon watched guard but then goku come and defeats him and hundreds of other fighters. Dende heals vegeta. meanwhile nail finds the secret hidden ball, but Freeza comes out of the darkness, and they fight but nail losses.

freeza returns to his ship and Vegeta challenges him. Vegeta fights a good fight , and freeza has to transform. The transformed Freeza fights vegeta until he is broken down.
Then Goku fights, but he looses terribly.
Right then Bulma, roshi, po, and dende use the dragonballs to wish yamcha and piccolo back to life, then kami tells dende to bring piccolo back to namek. Once piccolo is back he fuses with nail and fights freeza. Freeza is forced to transform again, but beats piccolo.
meanwhile dende heals goku and goku enters the fight again. Goku does well enough , but fails, freeza wonders how goku is healed and sees dende do is once more and freeza kills dende. Goku enraged charges freeza, who is loosing very badly, so freeza transforms once more , goku is loosing, so he used the sprit bomb, but it fails. All hope is thought to be lost.

Master roshi tries to step in when freeza is about to stomp on goku;s face but he fails and freeza kills him by making him blowup,seeing his late master killed in such an evil way makes goku become a cgi super saiyan!!

po and bulma get piccolo and vegeta and leave earth.

Goku fights freeza in an awsome (hahaha) matrix3 sky fight.

Goku finally kills freeza much like the anime/manga.

In movie 4,

Trunks arrives in time machine, cell(the rock) comes from the future also and begins absorbing people. The androids are also out and about destroying cities.
yamcha is killed by 19&20
goku defeats 19 and 20
17 ands 18(the olsen twins) fights vegeta and defeats him
goku then looses to 17 and 18
Trunks then arrives to help but gets his sword broken
meanwhile Kami calls piccolo to the sky palace and fuses with piccolo
Goku is healed by chichi and bulma vegeta and trunks train in the room of time
Piccolo goes to fight the androids. He fights 17 and is even with her
Nowing that piccolo is very powerful they retreat to the secret lab and turn 16 on.
Cell arrives and kills piccolo, 16 holds him off but he looses and cell absorbs 17
Then cell is held off by master roshi's kamehameha but he dies using so much ki
18 gets away.
the next day vegeta and trunks come out and goku goes into time room.
Vegeta and trunks fights him all day. They do well but cell tails vegeta trunks is weak and that vegeta is the strongest being after himself, vegetas say foolishness, that he is the strongest, cell gets vegeta to let him absorb 18 then they can test vegeta's power, vegeta agrees trunks tries to stop him but vegeta knocks him out. Vegeta and cell find 18 and cell absorbs her.

Cell full power kills trunks .

Vegeta becomes enraged and does his best but looses.

Goku arrives and becomess supersuper saiyan with long cgi sjj3 like hair and kills cell but dies in the process because he blows up.


Bulma wishes everyone back to life the end.

If you want to make a movie about DB you need to use the "trademarks" of DB, imagine the next Harry Porter movie been played by Bruce Willis and lord voldemort by Brad Pitt, i'm guessing that Harry Porter fans wouldn't be happy.
