they cant beat star wars in the first opening week so its a good thing that they delayed the opening to next year ...but still its dragon ball only so i dont know if we excpect a big success and tien is not in the movie which suck

It was goku vs tien. Krillin fought Piccolo but he quit.

lol @ anyone complaining about the actors.
C'mon people, of course they are going to pick actors you've probably never heard of before. Can you honestly think of any known actor that could of pulled of Goku?
Who knows, maybe we'll be surprised. I mean, I never thought I'd see the day where Robert Downey jr. was playing Iron Man.
Also, War of the worlds was more than three years ago. I doubt a professional actor would do anything but perfect his craft in that time. All this cynical-pessimism about the movie isn't helping.

Looks like Piccolo Daimao will be older just like in Manga and then wish for eternal youth and will become bigger in the two movies that will follow this one. James Masters (actor who plays Piccolo) stated this in an interview.

Probbaly becouse they couldnt get any big celebrities to play the roles since it s not such a big budget movie and they probbaly never heard of dragon ball before

James Masters (actor who plays Piccolo) is a very well know actor. The girl that plays Bulma is also a know actress. The guy who plays Goku I only know him from War of the Worlds.

Not that big comparing to other movies who are also comics......jame masters is not a really big name he s like a c list -celebrity ..hes only big role was in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

$100 million movie isn't a big budget? Do you know only movies like King Kong, Spider-Man, Titanic have budgets over $100 million. Most movies even blockbusters and A-Movies have budgets bellow $100 million.
