I was re-watching the Freeza Saga and I was wondering something. When Mr. Popo wished everyone killed by Freeza to return to life, did Vegeta gain a Zenkai when he was resurrected?

No, the Zenkai occurs only when a Saiya-jin recovers from a near-death experience. Seru in the Seru Saga states that they (in reference to Saiya-jin) receive power ups after recovering from a "brush with death" so if the Saiya-jin actually dies, the "near-death" part cannot factor in, thus meaning no Zenkai.

I don't think he did receive a zenkai. It stated somewhere that you can get a zenkai from near-death experiences and not death experiences.

Agree, Saiyan's only recieve Zenkais from near fatal injuries, not fatal injuries. The Zenkai is the compenstation that the body undergoes as a result of the healing process (natural or unnatural). Since with death there is no healing process, that means there would be no Zenkai.

Here's another question I have. I recently rewatched the Freeza Saga, and was wondering when exactly Vegeta received the Zenkai that placed him nearly on par with Third Suppression Freeza. Vegeta gets his ass handed to him by Recoome, but he's still standing, not exactly what I could call near death. And then, watching Goku fight Recoome, Burter and Jeice, he's amazed at his speed and power. If that recovery was the Zenkai that put him on the level of Third Suppression Freeza, why would he be amazed at Goku's 90,000 PL compared to his 480,000 or so.

Because he didn't even know how much stronger he had become (like he told Jeice much later).

And all he did was heal when watching Goku's fight; it's not like he focused his energy and powered up or anything. So Goku's power was way ahead of what Vegeta was using at the moment.

Whoa, Vegeta got his ass beat. He had blood coming out of his eyes and I can't believe you forgot that awesome quote "To think that the great Vegeta...will die being humiliated like a plaything...!". <--He thought he was GOING TO DIE and would probably cry if Goku didn't show up.

As for how he got the 3rd form zenkai, it was because he asked Kuririn to beat him up and then have Dende heal him (so he could cheat). Kuririn hesitate but that blew a hole clean through Vegeta. He was staggering towards Dende and Dende wanted to help Picolo first (which made Vegeta collapse). So in a way, Dende's kindness toward his own race prolonged Vegeta's death-brush and thus made him stronger (indirectly).

Vegeta kicked Dende into the dirt for it (Taking a long time) though ^^
