The durability of Buu

We have seen the Fat Buu resisting the bomb of Mr. Satan, a Bazooka by the guy that shoot the dog, resisting Kamehame ha and other blast (I mean he was not desintegrated in his totality until the Genkidama) but also pierce by bullets. How we could explain his durability? Can Buu change his durability at will?

If Cell claim to have the power to desintegrate the solar sistem, is Buu more durable than that?

That stuff would be a bit weak against everyone in DBZ. Goku in early DBZ was able to withstand bullet hits.

Yes. Buu can change his durability at will. This is proven when Evil Buu gets hit by the gunman's bullets and they just bounce off him. But when Super Buu is littered with bullets, they go right through him. I would without a doubt think that he is WAY more durable than Cell.

We have seen that Buu can control his body on cellular level. For example Super Buu was some kind of intelligent liquid :D. Fat Buu seems very soft almost like a marshmellow. Super Buu is harder but he also can change his form. Kid Buu was stretching and wiggling. Only Gohan, Gotenks and Piccolo Buu didn't show any of these properties.

Not really. Buuhan is shown being stretchy in the Vegito fight.

Buu's control is in the atomic level so I would say that he can control his density at will

Yes, one's durability can be changed on their own account or volition as they have ki control.

When they increase their ki, they're way more durable, I think (ki shields?). Well, against DBZ villains, bullets are like small ants...

Yeah that would be the case ability to control your own Ki and the inability to control freely:
Chibi Son Goku: Getting shot an invisible wall of Ki was always surrounding him, as his power wasn't suppressed at all.
Raditz: Catching a bullet, nor was his power level suppressed.
Perfect Cell: Took a Kienzan from Kuririn at the back of his neck. It didn't phase Cell at all.
Majin Buu: Got disintegrated by Vegeta's Final Explosion move. Super Buu got sliced by Son Goku's Kienzan. Even though we know his power level wasn't surpressed either. He must be able to control his own Ki as he managed to stop bullets with his Ki, and survive high powered Ki waves.
