How about the fact that Radittz can catch farmer's bullets or Roshi can, too. And Buu has regenerative powers. He can come back each time he's blown. And he was blown by Majin Vegeta's explosion and not by bullets.

Couple things I wanted to point out about weapons in DBZ:

Super Boo, Vegeta (both as Oozaroo and regular form), and Freeza were off-guard when they were injured/impailed by human weapons. I'd like to point out Radditz grabbed the bullets and they went clean through Super Boo. They hurt Kid Goku. Vegeta was completely off-guard and taken by surprise both times Yajirobe cut him. The sword hurt Vegeta in his base and in his Oozaroo form he'd literally be 50x stronger...but the tail was cut. As for Freeza, he was startled and off-guard too. Some people think that he was in his 50% suppression and so he was even stronger then Trunks.

When Goku fought Trunks, he had his finger glow and blocked with only his finger. Evil Boo, unlike Super Boo was completely prepared for the gunman and the bullets just hit him without a dent. He didn't even flinch. Cell was showered with bazookas and missles but stood there without a scratch.

Now, I have a theory: human weapons can still hurt DBZ characters. In all examples that they are hurt by them, they are off-guard. In ALL examples where they do not get hurt, they are on-guard/block the incoming attack. My theory goes that the DBZ characters control the amount of "durability" that their bodies have (similar to raising and lowering their power-level). It isn't effective if you are off-guard (See Super Boo, Kid Goku against the RR, and Vegeta against Yajirobe) and will be more prone to injury if taken by surprise (like Cyborg Freeza). 18 was nearly caught by Trunks but she put her arm up at the last minute and the sword broke. 17 was shot completely off-guard by the old guy in the truck but the androids/cyborgs are mostly mechanical and they may not count for my arguement.

What do you think of my "durability-on-guard" theory...?

Actually it is a good theory in my opinion. I think they can just raise their Ki when they're on-guard, it's a bit more logical than "they can control the amount of durability". Though, I think the theory is pretty good.

Yeah, it could be changed to chi since saying they control durability is the equivalent of saying they manipulate their own mass. I was basically saying they have to brace themselves. And since Goku focused chi in his finger and only used that one to parry Trunks' sword, my theory stands with manga proof. Also is the example of Super Boo (who was off-guard) and Evil Boo (Who is weaker then him and was prepared).

In Goku's and Trunks' case, though Goku showed a level of equalization and mastery not seen before, and Trunks commented on Goku's incredible power, Goku openly conceded that Trunks was holding back for a reason, so I think the gulf between the two would be notable but marginal at best.

As for Boo, he has a rather temperamental body and just recollects and rearranges in an alternate area through some visceral, vicious bouts. But I'd have to say that Boo could endure far more than what SS2 Complete Cell could produce in power (the aforementioned solar-system destroying power nonwithstanding, even though it's a large extrication of a contesting amongst the fanbase). When I say "endure far more", I mean that in the sense of Boo's regeneration - Boo has shown to have been easily sliced and diced, but most lacked the power to completely sustain an attack that would be at the circumference (IE: The Genki Dama) that could totally overtake Boo.

^Trunks then told him he was not going to hold back, because he tested Goku's heart and he knew Trunks wouldn't hit him. Goku blocked all of the swipes with his finger which was charged with chi.

And I disagree about Boo. If he were on-guard, yes: He'd survive far more then S-Cell, seeing as he can basically regenerate from atoms. But his body is naturally softer (Note Majin Vegeta or Vegito leaving craters and imprints on Boo's body). Even when he braces himself, if someone hits Boo really hard he'll bend up like play-do.
