Vegeta Super Saiyan 1, 2 and 4 --- Where's 3?????

Vegeta tansformed into super saiyan 1 and then 2 and then in GT 4.
BUT WHERE did we miss 3?

In order to reach SSJ4, you got to have enough power to go SSJ, have a tail, and maybe pure saiyan blood. SSJ4 is not the state directly following the SSJ3, it's more of an hybrid between the giant ape and the SSJ. When someone is able to go SSJ and has a tail, he looks at the moon, his super saiyans and Oozaru powers will triger, then he will turn into a golden Oozaru. In order to go SSJ4 you have to control the golden Oozaru form. You don't have to reach SSJ2 or SSJ3 to ascend to SSJ4. I think a mastery of the SSJ would be good since it looks rather difficult to control the raw power of the golden Oozaru.

in order to go to SSJ4 all you have to be able to do is be a SSJ and be able to control your Oozaru form, and have a great amount of strength,

Goku can go straight to it since he can go SSJ3, Vegeta cant go SSJ3 so he has to use the blunt wave machine.

Goku could go straight to it since, he can go SSJ3, he has a tail, and he learned to conrtol his Oozaro form.

Vegeta just needed a bunch of blunt waves.

Techniqually Super Saiya-jin 4 isn't even canon. Its Toei. They do what they want. They wanted Bejita to skip 3 and go straight to 4 so he did.

I'm pretty sure it's either "bruit" (brute + fruit) or "blutz" waves.

The original term it Bruitz waves, as being a parody of "Fruits": where monkeys get their energy.

Super Saiyan 4 is only called Super Saiyan 4 because it is Goku's fourth Super Saiyan state. If you honestly think about it, Super Saiyan 4 is actually Vegeta's Super Saiyan 3, but in my opinion, Super Saiyan 4 isn't even a Super Saiyan form at all. It's simply an advanced form of Saiyan that combines the abilities of the natural Saiyan form and Oozaru form. Last time I checked, Super Saiyan was stronger then both the Saiyan's natural form and his Oozaru form. [^o)]

Eventhough Super Saiyan x4 isn't cannon, it looks like the true super saiyan form in my opinion. Sure, the other ones all look cool as well. I just think, with the saiyans turning into oozarus first, and the way SSJ x4 looks similiar with the fur, it would appear to be a much better super saiyan form when going by that.

Of course. It's easier to reach then SSj2 and SSj3, and you get a lot more power, and you have no apparent ki drain. [at least not as big of a ki drain as SSj3, for sure]

The reason why Vegeta didn't reach SSJ3 was because he had no need to.

We first come accross SSJ3 when Goku is trying to distract Buu, and it requires alot of power. soo... SSJ > SSJ2> SSJ3. Whereas, Vegeta wanted SSJ4 which requires a different path... (and a tail) SSJ > SSJ2 > SSJ4.

So you see, there are two paths. You can't go directly from SSJ3 to SSJ4 becuase you would be TOALLY wasted of energy, and it would be rediculously stupid to goto SSJ3 just before transforming to SSJ4 anyway.

I don't think that's true. While the chi drain of ssj3 is great, there are individuals who made incredible gains doing regular training on Earth.

Yeah, I think it can be by another saiyan, but since ssj3 takes so much ki, it might not even be worth achieving. Might as well train ssj2.
And yeah, Vegeta gets "ssj4" cause Toei wanted him to. I feel that wasn't enough. He needed more sceentime, but that's another issue. F*cking Toei.

ssj4 is technically non-canon...plus Vegeta "artifically " reached" ssj4 all thanks to Bulma's invention.......
