Nah dude your wrong because remeber when Trunks told Goku, and Goku told everyone that they wree gonna die, Vegeta must have trained twice as hard than he did in Trunk's time to become a Super Sayian, so Vegeta would be stronger than Gero's original calculations. The calcuations worked but not how they were supposed to...

It's no problem.

But the "real" Androids (17 and 18) were created based on the same calculations that were taken by Gero. Gero just gave them more room for error. Instead of calculating Goku's power, and making them, say, 5 times stronger than that (like with 19), he probably just gave them a 100-times buffer, just to make sure.

He had to have beased the Androids' power on something, and Goku was the thing always on Gero's mind.
