How old is Future Trunks?

How old was he when he came to Earth? Seventeen, right? And if anyone has a good page with lots of information on him, that'd be greatly appreciated :]

He could've been 17, but I believe he was 16 at the time of Freeza's death. In the movie special he was 13 years old, then three years after Gohan's death he came to give Goku the antidote. So by the time he came back from the future in the Android Arc, he was 19.

Mirai Torunkusu was indeed 16 when he arrived from his timeline to confront Gokuu about his impending heart virus as well as defeat Furiiza and Korudo.

but in the hyperbolic time chamber 1 days is like a week or somthing right? remember when he and vegeta came out his hair was way longer... also he said he was in there for like a year or so.

A year in the Room of Spirit and Time constitutes a single day in the outside world. So despite the fact that Mirai Torunkusu spent two years in there (he went in twice), he is technically still 19, but he's aged to the point that he's physically 21.

When Trunks kills Frieza and King Cold, he's 16, but when he goes into the future, he doesn't age at all, I don't know why people think that......

That would be like Trunks going back to when he kills Frieza and King Cold and being -2 years old [^o)]

So you see, when he goes ahead 3 years, he doesn't age at all, he's still 16. This means that Trunks is actually 18 durring the Cell Games.....

He's 16 when he initially appears in the current timeline, then he heads back to his timeline to await the repowering of his time machine and to hopefully assist with the Jinzou-ningen of the current time. Three years go by (in both his timeline and the current one), thus when he returns, he is 19 years old.

I don't recall him saying he's 17, but if he said he is though then I chalk it up to being nothing more than a lie to throw the Z Senshi off (give them false information so that they don't somehow piece together his identity), since I know he was only 19 when he returned three years later.

He never directly lied to anyone. He either told them the truth or mentioned that he couldn't tell them anything on multiple occasions.

Bulma: "...Have we met before?"

Trunks: "Huh? ...Errr...No..."

Gohan: "How do you know my dad?"

Trunks: "I've only heard about him. Never been privileged to meet him."

Kuririn: "...Then...how do you know that he's going to get here in three hours?"

Trunks: "...Well...I'm sorry...I can't tell you..."

Vegeta: "What do you mean, you can't tell us? Who the hell are you? How did you get so much power?"

Trunks: "I'm sorry...I can't tell you that either..."

Gohan: "Um...When you defeated Freeza...you were a Super Saiya-jin...weren't you?"

Trunks: "Well...yes, I was..."

*few panels later*

Bulma: "Huh?! Say...Isn't that the Capsule Corp. logo?! Are you one of our employees?!"

Trunks: "...Not really..."

Bulma: "Is that a secret too? Can't you even tell us your name? Or your age?"

Trunks: "I can't tell you my name...but I'm 17 years old..."

He never actually met that Bulma, he was too young (possibly not born quite yet) to remember Goku before he died, he was a Super Saiya-jin, it's likely Capsule Corp. was destroyed and ended due to the cyborgs killing a lot of people, so it's logicial he never actually worked there. Everything else he mentioned he couldn't say. Why would he only lie about his age when there's so many other lies he could have mentioned?

Where does it directly say Trunks was 19 years old when he returned anyway?

I don't remember which one off the top of my head, but it's listed in one of the volumes of the Daizenshuu that Torunkusu was 19 when he returned to the present timeline. Besides, I know that if I were trying to keep my identity a secret, I would definately refrain from giving any personal information out whatsoever, and either dodge or lie my way out of any of those questions that might bring my identity to light. We see that Torunkusu clearly avoids answering as many questions as he can, so it doesn't seem logical that the question he would answer would be factual.

I still fail to see why he would lie about one thing after already being questioned about so much other, equally personal information, and telling the "truth" about it. Not telling everyone his age would have been as easy as not telling them his name. Would telling the truth about his age actually hurt anything? Bulma didn't seem to put two and two together when Piccolo finally told her Trunks was her son from the future, it certainly seemed like news to her. How old her child is now compared to this "mysterious stranger"'s age seemed to be the farthest thing from her mind.

It doesn't look to me like Trunks was dodging the questions, but giving only basic information to keep the future from changing, and from himself not being born. Once the questions came along questioning how Trunks new about future events, that's when he wouldn't give an answer.

I never said that it takes three years to recharge the time machine. Torunkusu simply said that he was going to go back to his timeline, and that he wouldn't be able to return immediately because it takes a long time for it to recharge. He said that if he'd still be alive in three years, he'd return to the current timeline to try and help with the defeat of the Jinzou-ningen.
