2. Again, this is just another plothole from Toei. Although, yes, Goku and Gohan were shown in the few panels there were in the manga to have maintained SSj for the whole 9 days, but it doesn't show too much more than that AND it's very possible they could go to base if they wanted. In the Buu Arc, Goku and Vegeta and Gohan are all MSSjs, yet they don't retain the state 24/7. My point is once you master the state, it's mastered. You can go to base and not loose power or anything. It was shown in the Buu Arc, and it's very possible in the Cell Arc & Movie 8.

LegendarySSJ7, I was wondering what your opinion on MSSJ was...... I mean in terms of the multiplier for it. Do you feel it should be higher than SSJ, or that the only advantage of it is that there is no "Strain" and that the multiplier for it should be lower than that of a normal SSJ?

I personally think the MSSJ multiplier should be higher than a normal SSJ's, because despite the fact that there is no longer a strain, someone could still raise their base level to the same amount as Goku, for example, and according to popular belief the fighter than hadn't mastered SSJ would be the stronger one in SSJ form (As many seem to believe that the multiplier goes down when becoming MSSJ)

So I was wondering, what's your opinion on that topic?

As I've said, completely mastering the state is all about bridging the gap between the transformed and auraless state (and then converting the remaining chi into extra power) and doing away with the unceasingly vigorous feeling the state initially arouses. It takes many a conscious effort and usage of chi in order to transform at first (a dynamic, in that sense, as well as in looks), and though I am of the belief that said multiplier did ebb over the course of training and reining the state, that the largest decrease didn't come until Goku completely mastered the state. Hence the surmising that around 5x feels appropriate for the Boo Saga Arc battle powers, though that's my and a few select other's opinion. I just don't think the 50x (or around there) multiplier existed for so long. Not that your listing is at fault for any choice you make on the matter; nothing is irrevocably written in stone or too expressly stated. I'm just saying.

I guess you don't understand MSSJ well then............Staying in that form for a long time helps them master it...............Even after mastering it if they go base they have to use energy to transform again from base though this time they have no strain in their bodies..........................And when I proved you wrong just accept it and don't dismiss it like a small kid saying it was a pothole of TOIE................And you said some of the movies are not canon.....................Actually every movie except the specials are non canon

XD It's funny when other members try to act tough because they think their right. This is a debate, your not going to change my thoughts on the matter and I'm not going to change yours. And besides, I didn't dismiss your reply. I stated why I thought Gohan and Goku were MSSj's using the manga as my source. I believe once Goku and Gohan came from the ROSAT, they were MSSjs from then on because you cannot unmaster it. The point of the state is to get used to the restless feeling. Once that is accomplished you'll have no problem from then on. I believe Vegeta to be a MSSj in the Buu Arc because of the seven year training period. He had seen exactly what Goku and Gohan had done when they came from the ROSAT, and I'm sure he'd do the same during his training period. Plus, he was WAY above Gohan's strength as a MSSj from the Cell era by the time of the Buu Arc. I believe he did achieve the state.

The term "MSSj" never comes up in the manga or anime anyway...

What does it really matter, though?

If you keep using the "50x" multiplier, you'll get large numbers, but every fighter the Super Saiyans face will increase their numbers, as well, because all the levels are calculated in relation to each other.

No matter what multipliers you use, and what numbers you get, the ratios between fighters will remain the same.

No, Gohan wasn't as weak as you suppose. He fought nigh even with Dabura who is stated by Goku to be equal to Complete Cell [powered-up]. It's the same Gohan we see in Movie 10. He didn't specify "Complete, powered-up Cell". He just said "Cell". That could be any form, most likely just Complete Cell, before powering up (since that's what Goku himself fought).

I know he was talking about Complete Cell [powered-up] because Gohan was SSj1. What's the only level of Cell he could be close to at that time? Complete Cell [powered-up]. It wouldn't make sense if Goku was referring to Complete Cell [Full Power] or Complete Cell [post-Zenkai].

If Dabura were as strong as powered-up Complete Cell, Gohan would have been killed:

Cell Games Gohan > Buu saga Gohan.

Cell didn't go to full power until after Gohan went Super Saiyan 2. The Cell that was beating the crap out of Gohan was non-powered-up.

powered-up Complete Cell > non-powered-up Complete Cell > Cell Games Gohan > Buu saga Gohan.

It would have been a slaughter.

Oh, wait. Are you talking about Cell's "powering up" at the end of his fight with Goku? Just before Goku "gives up"?
