I heard that when they made the wish to bring back everyone cell killed that #17 was brought back to. I also heard that when goku was gathering energy for the spirit bomb when he was fighting kid buu that 17 took out his gun to scare people into raising there hands(uncut version).

Also while Buu was on earth he must have known he couldn't do anything. Think about the Power diffrence between Majin Buu and Android 17.

I always thought it was odd that 17 actually helped the Spirit Bomb...I mean yeah 18 turned *good* but 17 never really seemed like that...

Yes Android 17 is still alive he was shown in the last volume giving Ki to Goku's Spirit Bomb saying "I haven't heard his (Goku's) voice in a long time".

Wondering how #17 could give chi to Genki Dama if it was stated those cyborgs don't have chi.

Is Genki different than Ki? If so it could explain why #17 could give energy to the Genki Dama and why Ultimate Gohan's energy wasn't enough to kill Chibi Buu.

Or maybe #17 has Ki from what is left of him that is organic. The parts of him that are organic might only have as much Ki as an insect or something so the Z fighters never noticed.

Genki Dama is chi/Ki. All energy, those blue, yellow, etc cool things are chi.

#17 was stated to don't have chi.
