I don't recall him doing so. But, in the manga, nothing says that Saiyan women can't achieve the state of SSj. But besides that, men have a stronger spirit when it comes to fighting.

I read the reason that Pan and Bra couldn't turn SS was because they were only 25% saiyans. GT contradicts this because Goku and Vegeta jr. must be at most 1/16 saiyan.

I read it on pan's bio in DBZBT2 so i would assume it's the same for bra and it's the only logical explanation i can think of.

I wouldn't take that bio as completely accurate considering it's coming from a video game. Besides, it's not stated that they can't do it in GT or Z.

Bra was 1/2 Saiyan, not 1/4 Saiyan.

It didn't have to do with the characters' inabilities, it had to do with Toriyama's. He stated that he didn't make a female Super Saiyan because he couldn't come up with a logical design of what they would look like. Super Saiyan traits are traits that are typical of males, not females (increased muscle mass, defined facial features, ect.). But Toriyama did state that Pan could've become a Super Saiyan if she trained hard enough, however, he just couldn't design her.

If you wanna get tech. The lower the saiyans heritage, if you will, the harder it becomes to achieve Super Saiyan. Pan and Bra has such a low SBC (Saiyan Blood Content) that it was almost impossible for them to transform but if A-T Man said for that reason; I guess it's true... =/

Pan is 25%, Bra is 50%, theorically Bra should have been able to go SSJ quite early. Since females or much less violent and agressive than males we can think that maybe female aren't able to reach SSJ, also since Bra didn't show a love for fighting at all it maybe also be the cause. I mean, if girls can reach SSJ pan should have been able to reach it but maybe her blood is to diluated, she is only 25% after all.

The opposite is most likely true for the bolded part.

It is very possbile that they could go Super Saiyajin, and that they probably did. However, the incredible influx in power and emotion causes their mind and body to become so badly altered that they on a whole are incapable of sustaining such a sudden transformation. Of course, the male Saiyajin can and we have seen this done. But the female equivalent of this transformation is so incredible that there is only one acronym that can explain this massive strength: P.M.S
