Mastered SSJ? - Page 2

It has been said earlier (rather vaguely however), that mastering of the super saiyajin state simply removes the enormous chi-drain and the feeling of anxiety as well as aggression. I should clarify that it does NOT guarrantee a huge increase from the untainted state. Keep in mind that Son's Gohan and Goku were training in the torturous R.O.S.A.T for a year. They were sparring, working on basics, and everything. At most, the increase (w/o training) would be x1.5.

So, I hope that answers your question, Vivi. A MSSJ2 would, logically, become a x1.5 increase in power. But...since the anxiety and aggression are even greater than the first SSJ state, the multiplier might be slightly higher. Again, keep in mind mastery does not magically give you a huge strength increase.

Yeah, the increase that occurred with Goku and Gohan didn't stem from the fact that they attained the state of Super Saiyan indefinitely, but that they were now able to train like that for incredible periods of time.
Though, I have noticed that those who master the state of Super Saiyan seem to access varying degree's of power within the state depending on the aura. It looks more chaotic and nigh Ssj2-like (minus lightning) when they are truly at Full Power, but when they aren't fighting at their max, you see the classic style aura the Super Saiyan had before the Chamber of Time came into play.
I have no idea why that's important.

I believe that too, but you also have to realize that the fundamental trait of a Super Saiyan is the fact that it is a transformation. This contradicts Cell's case, being that his yellow aura is constant. His aura does not change color when he reverts to a powered down state, like for example, Goku or Vegeta. And even though he transforms, he doesn't transform in the same manner that Saiyans do.

You know what, instead of taking up valuable posting area on this thread, I'm going to start a new one.

Back on the subject, I agree with you, no mastery has ever been shown for Super Saiyan 2 or Super Saiyan 3.
