Did Vegeta become a Super Saiya-jin 3?

The question is the topic itself. Lets review:

- Son Goku took seven years in Otherworld of training and has learned to become a Super Saiya-jin 3.

- Son Goten and Trunks learned to turn their fusion into a Super Saiya-jin 3 in less than one year.

After the defeat of Chibi Buu, I see no reason for Vegeta to have stopped training. I would think after a decade, Vegeta would now have the ability to become a Super Saiya-jin 3, maybe even rivaling Goku himself.

Do you think he did or not?

Yeah, he could. But he has family buisness too. I mean, he has to take care of Bra with Bulma, so that's a factor. Im sure if he didn't have Bra, he could've trained.

no, he didn't become ssj 3 because it was never in the manga. he never evan did it in filler so there is no way

You forget that Goku's methods of training are much better than Vegeta's. Just because Goku was able to accomplish something doesn't mean Vegeta would be able to do the same thing.

I think he'd be able to, but TOEI is a bunch of jackasses and didn't want Vegeta getting anywhere near Goku's power. Either that, or they just totally forgot and didn't care. I'm sure if Toriyama created it, he would've gone SSj3, or at least something like it. Vegeta was so close to it, so why not after all he dealt with? Surely he recieved a large Zenkai from his beating from the Buus.

I disagree there, Vegeta was the first to go anything beyond a SSJ. Goku even said something like "if anyone can do it, Vegeta can. He's a fighting genius."

Vegeta never even realized there WAS a SSJ3 before he saw Goku do it. If he spent a lot of time trying to reach that level I'm sure he could.

That's because after the decade of Chibi Buu's defeat, we don't see him fight in the manga smartass. And filler sucks.

Anyways, I'm with Notorious. I'm sure Vegeta got a Zenkai after being kicked around by Chibi Buu. Anyways, Bra was born 7 years after Chibi Buu's defeat, so I would think Vegeta had a good amount of time to train.

And I don't really see where you get that Goku has better training methods than Vegeta.

The only "training method" that we see Goku do (that he thinks up by himself mind you), is lifting up four hundred tons.

All of Goku's other training methods we see are thought up by someone else. And lifting weights isn't really a hard training method to think up in my opinion.

Hmm...confusing prospect there, Son Gohan. If he trained virtually non-stop (except when Bulma had Bra, as she wouldn't have wanted him training at the time their second child was born, and she would have probably forced him to help out), then I reckon that he has the potential to do it. If he desires something enough, there's a likelihood that he can do it.

How could Vegeta get a zenkai if he was already dead?

No, Vegeta had wished for everyone who was killed by Buu, including himself, to be revived (note the dissappearance of his Halo). It only makes sense that Kibitoshin, Dende, or a Senzu Bean would eventually heal him and he'd get a Zenkai. Vegeta would have over half a decade training's time after that.

Well,nobody ever said Vegeta NEVER became a SSJ3,just GT was the only thing for him to show off his skills(other than the last DBZ episode).
What if he did,but when he saw Goku was a SSJ4,he just said,"Screw it,I'm being an SSJ4."It could be,he had it,but didn't USE it.And they prolly thought he'd look stupid,his hair would be just......UBER long,and standing up....
And don't say Gotenks' hair was like Goku's,but remember 2 things:
1.Gotenks is 2 half-saiya-jins.
2.Both of their hair normally goes down.
