He thought of the sayjin race at the begining of dbz to try and explain Gokus tail and his unnatural power level. Then built the series on that!

Yeah it is. And I'd like to find the article or interview where he stated he almost gave Son Goku wings. Care to provide it for me?

The answer to this question is already known.

The answer is no. He didn't even know himself the Goku was from a different planet called Vegeta where they all have tails and have super powers.

Akira Toriyama decided all of this for DBZ, obviously they would drop hints in the DB anime because near the end DBZ was already planned and stuff, but when Toriyama was first making he's 1st Dragonball chapter, he wasn't planning on making DBZ from this.
