True but Akira did help with the Anime.
And he helped ink a couple of things for GT and he also came up some ideas. He pretty much looked over the shoulder of Toei and gave them the ok to make GT. |

No, Toei Animation drew the anime, he drew the manga.

Are you an idiot? Every anime based off of a manga is made to look like the manga, they even use the same poses and stuff. It's impossible to draw a whole anime by yourself, and a whole manga chapter, in a week.

No, he was making the manga at the same time Toei was drawing the anime. When the manga is lisenced to become an anime, the manga author has no say in what happens.

OK I dont know where you got that load of crap...and I know that he was finishing up the manga when the series was coming out but he still managed to ink some things and draw others too.
Ya see when your devoted to some thing it gives you motivation...and since it was kinda his job he needed all the money he could get cuz being an artist doesnt pay that much especially in the 80's. Hence the term starving artist. |

OK I dont know where you got that load of crap
If you think the manga artist looks over the anime, then filler that contradicts the plot wouldn't exist. You obviously don't watch Naruto. and I know that he was finishing up the manga when the series was coming out Let's see, the manga started in 1985, and the anime started in 1986. Akira was just starting the manga at the same time the anime was starting, only off by a year. but he still managed to ink some things and draw others too. And that statment was based off of what? Ya see when your devoted to some thing it gives you motivation... It doesn't matter how "devoted" or "motivated" he would be to help with the anime, him, and any other artist that has given interviews in the US Shonen Jump, have stated that it takes 5-6 days to finish a chapter. And as you should know, anime and manga run on a weekly schedual in Japan. He even stated in Issue #1 of Shonen Jump (I think it was #1) that he would get no more than 4 hours of sleep a day, every week, for 10 years, while making Dragonball. and since it was kinda his job he needed all the money he could get cuz being an artist doesnt pay that much especially in the 80's. Hence the term starving artist. Manga artists aren't paid that much? Akira is rich, dude, which is why he doesn't draw weekly manga anymore, only occasionly. But when a company is making the anime the creator has all the say he wants in it You obviously don't know much about anime. The author has no say in the anime, which is why the anime producers have to buy the lisence, they aren't free to just make it. If the manga artist had a say, there would be no pointless filler. For instance, about the LoTR movies. If Toilken were still alive, do you think he would be there, bossing the movie director around? No, the director is allowed to interpret the movie however he wants, although if he changed the whole plot, the movie wouldn't do very good.

Take Kubrick's "The Shining" as an example. Stephen King himself said that he didn't like the changes Kubrick had made to his novel, but did Kubrick listen to these criticisms or feel forced to change the screenplay? No, he didn't. Could Stephen King really stop him? No, it was too late by then.
The only thing he COULD do was make his own version, which in fact he later did with Stephen King's The Shining years later, for which he himself wrote the sceenplay. |

Okay, here's the answer to the on-topic question: Vegeta has control over the Oozaru form. He's not too "crazy" to go SSJ at will in it. |

For one you cant relate a book to a manga/comic
A produce for a cartoon/anime is way different then a producer for a movie A director for a cartoon/anime is way different then a director for a movie and what the fuck do mean I dont watch Naruto I have seen all the way up to 102 I just havent had the time to get 103. Any ways were not even talking about Naruto. Your asking what my statements are based off of but every thing that I have asked you to base off of you give me a load of crap. Its stated by artist dating all the way back to Piccaso that they dont make as much money as people think they do until after what they made is very old. Dragonball is over 20 years old If your basin books and manga together and anime and movies together then lets take Spider Man 1 and 2 Stan Lee had plenty of say in both those movies and even a camio I dont know where you go off saying that the soul creator of a series has no say in the production of the cartoon/anime production. Now some artist dont like to do the anime/cartoon as with Naruto (but Masashi Kishimoto has been spotted entering and leaving the production studio) and thats their descision but Akira Toriyam has helped on the Cell Games and the Buu Saga it was stated in an interview with Akira Toriyama. Its even stated in interviews and by many people on this board that helped ink and draw a few things in GT. I know it takes about 4 to 5 days to finish a chapter but Akira had many chapters already done so in spare time he did odd jobs like help Toei from Bird Studios (these guys helped also). All this is stated by Akira himself and by his wife also. His wife mentions many times that he was at Toei animation making sure things were going smoothly, and I believe that his wife knows him better then any of us. |
