2 reasons.

1. Toriyama said they couldnt because of their genetic makeup.

2. pan was the first female sayian to appear in the manga, and she was only 4 years old. so, there would be that whole genetic makeup thing.plus i doubt at would let her go ssj at 4 even if women could go ssj.

Frankly, I would have loved to see a girl go SSJ in the series. Perhaps if Goku and Chi Chi had a girl instead of Goten, that would have allowed the right situation for AT to introduce the first girl SSJ.

yes but it is said that girl saiyans cannot go ssj in my mind i think they can but they havent gotten angry enough to do it......well the only case i can see a girl saiyan go SSJ would have been pan because she had the strenght to turn Ssj but she didnt quite have the anger.

i think if a male and a female fused then the being that was the outcome would just become 1 sex depending on who was stronger or somthing like that.

p.s do you have to be the same power level to fuse? i forgot

yea you have to be the same power level. if they arent, the stronger person has to lower their powerlevel to match the weaker ones.

I would imagine that it would have to be 2 men to fuse or 2 women to fuse. Since they probably emit different kinds of power levels...

A chick can't go SS because they don't fight. And Pan dosen't have the anger, maybe She inhherited some of her father's mystic powers???

no, a woman cant go ssj because of their genetic makeup. and a woman's emotions are the same as ours, if anything a woman would be able to go ssj easier than a man, because they tend to have outbreaks of emotions sometimes.

not in the manga, but in an interview. he said that their genetic material is different than males, and that difference must be the ablity to go ssj.

When you say a chick can't go SS because they don't fight(the exception being Pan)....what about all the other female saiyans that came before her.When King Kai was telling goku about saiyans&there were flashbacks,the females were fighting along side the males.And there didn't seem to be much of a difference between them,power wise,or they're apperance.The only female SS that doesn't fight is Bra.And when you're born you inherit things from both your parents,so Goku would of inherited his strength&powers.....and appetitie from both his Bardock&his mother...whoever the heck she is?So I see no reason,myself,why a female saiyan cannot fuse or go super saiyan,because of her 'genetic makeup'.
