vegeta went ascended after a yrs training
goku went same in less than a yr...
vegeta went back in for another yr......didnt improve much
goku didnt
at the tournament goku nearly matched cell but kept losing energy
vegeta couldnt handle cell jr
gohan, managed to do go super saiyan 2 in less than a yr and he wasnt a super saiyan when he went in....and managed to beat cell, WITH vegetas help with his big bang ball???not sure

in buu, goku again as someone said he didnt want vegeta so know abt super saiyan 3, but also gohan did go stronger than goku when he became mystic but with the help of the old kai damnit he shud of taken gohan and vegeta with hercule lolllllz
and same with GT he didnt get to super saiyan 3 but goku went passed 3 and went to 4 but tht didnt helpp much in the last saga of GT

I agree with you on all of your points except when you said gohan was stronger than goku when he went mystic. I hears and have seen that being mystic for gohan is the same as goku ssj3

mystic is no where near ssj3, its sorda like ssj2 ascended i guess...ssj3 goku its a match for the true form of buu while mystic gohan cant even beat buu when he had gotenks's power in him....which is y ssj3 is stronger
