Prince Vegeta?

Why does Vegeta all aways calls himself the Prince of all Saiyans, when since his father died, wouldn't he be the king?

I was just wondering..like maybe he belives the title of King still belongs to his father or something.

I remember someone asked this before. Some of the answers were a pride thing or he was never royally crowned.

It's prolly because he was never officially crowned. Or, maybe in Saiyan culture if there was a royal death the rightful suitor would take he/she's place. If that's so, then Vegeta would indeed be king. The only problem is he has no one and no planet to be king over!!

He calls himself that at out of respect for his father but that's imo because he doesn't call himself king because he remembers his father and he leaves himself as the prince.

Most likely because he was never officially crowned as king, and out of respect of his father's death.

i had just assumed it was cause they figured we'd get confused from him calling himself the prince and then later calling himself the king

I think it's because:

1. He was never officially coronated as king.

2. Out of pride and respect for his father.
