Thoughts ? I`ve gotta make some calculations to bring an exact number for each , but due to many events from the series I belive that the physicall strength and speed of the characters increase at the same rate with the character`s powerlevel .

What I`m really asking is numbers . How much faster than light ? How many tons can they lift ? How many thousands , milions , bilions of tons etc

I have a theoretical SSJ3 Vegetto as being able to lift 15,269,461,077,844 Tons. Move 271,798 Light Years Per second and destroy 27,522 Solar Systems.

Edit: I meant He can fight that fast not move that fast.

Strength: 9/10 (In excess of 100 tons)
Speed: 5/10 (A few times the speed of sound)
Flight speed: 8/10 (Several times the speed of sound)
Durability: 7/10 (Metahuman - very sturdy, but not very regenerative)
Stamina: 8/10 (Godlike - they have the energy required to fly and do all the things they do at the speeds they do without getting tired for a while, plus with all the actual energy beams in there too)

strength - (you still dont know the max capacity of ssj's strength, besides..... ssj > ssj stage 2 > ssj stage 3 > full power ssj......most saiyan warriors in dbz buu arc already surpass ssj)

speed - [they were easily slapping/deflecting ki blast with their own hand (ki blast in dbz are faster than light, saiyan- arc piccolo destroyed the moon with no waste time and his power lvl was just 329!!!! yeah right speed of sound can reach the moon in a sec prove it!!!!!!)] is that a few times speed of sound?

flight speed - (gohan,vegeta and klilyn could sense ginyu forces' space pod coming and yet they couldnt feel them approaching to steal their dragon balls, another thing is z senshi could feel mecha-freeza at his spaceship coming to earth) is that a several times faster than sound?

durability - (saiyans durability depends on their power lvl while freeza and cell have durability of their own plus their power level) are dbz a metahuman? are dbz a dc/marvel characters?

They must be moving at less than Mach 1 (at least in the atmosphere) because there are no accompanying sonic booms.

You don't know that. for strenght, I started with Raditz lifting a truck with one hand effortlessly and so, I divided 1200 by two 600 and set it as a limit to lift aproximatly 1.5 tons (gravity training is diferent as it exerts muscles in other ways!).

For speed, I made the power of 1000 the base power to be quicker than light as raditz with 1200 could move faster than light tough not by much. In this one I have my doubts if the math can be done by using linear increases but did it out of simplicity.

For the ability to destry solar sistems, I took Chou Seru power level to destroy the sun (it contains 99% of the mass of the solar system anyway and the resulting explosion would obliterate the rest of the solar system anyway so...) it matched proportionaly the power vegeta used to blow up the earth (roughly 24K) so I guess it's cool.



Oh I used LegendarySSj7 PL list as I agree with nearly everything.

Well concerning DBZ characters strength, it depends on their ki. I beleive if Goku wanted to punch the planet he could.



On the speed issue, Toriyama said in an interview that Dragonball was light speed in the Saiya-jin saga.

I'm afraid that Toriyama-sensei never made such an interview, which would furthermore be contradicted anyway (if he indeed even said it) since if the Z Senshi were able to reach that level of speed back in the Saiya-jin Saga, none of the Z Senshi would have been all that impressed with Gokuu traversing 20,000 km in a couple of seconds with his Shunkan Idou when he was showing it off. Bejiita initially thought that Gokuu was just tricking them by moving so fast that he appeared invisible, but when he became aware of the fact that Gokuu just traveled to Kamesen'nin's island and swiped his sunglasses in mere seconds (the distance from that spot to Kamesen'nin's island was stated to be 10,000 km away, so 20,000 km in all), he was nothing short of shocked.

20,000 km in a few seconds =/= 300,000 km/s (the velocity of light in kilometers per second)

Toriyama-san has agreed to answer some questions for us today. Much thanks to Toriyama-san after the craze on the Majin Buu period. (Do note that this was not a cover story, and thus, short).

Nirazaki: Many fans have given positive feedback over the Majin Buu period. The inclusion of fusion was an unexpected twist. What gave you the idea?

Toriyama-san: Well in order to have a villain with so much strength, you need someone around that can rival him. Majin Buu is incredibly strong. Its not easy to create a character that can keep up. So I thought of making the characters fuse to create new characters without taking the focus off the main characters.

Nirazaki: There have been many changes since the Saiya-jins came to earth. Do you ever think about the progress?

Toriyama-san: Yes I do. Doragonboru has come a long way. They went from running at super speed to moving at the speed of light! (Laughs)

Nirazaki: There was uproar over the rematch between Son Goku and Bejita. Were you planning this the entire time?

Toriyama-san: (Laughs) It was more of a crowd pleaser. Son Gokuu and Bejita didnt have the opportunity to fight in the Seru period, and with a new saga to start with, it would not be hard to work in that kind of battle.

Nirazaki: Youve been telling everyone how this is the end. Will Doragonboru really end after Majin Buu?

Toriyama-san: Yes. Ive put so much time on Doragonboru I cant do much else. I never expected Doragonboru to be this long in the first place. I think its been concluded on a high note. After all, if I had my way, Id of ended the manga after the Freeza period! (Laughs)

Nirazaki: You like to laugh about this a lot. Will parting with Doragonboru be difficult?

Toriyama-san: On one side, Im relieved. On the other side, its like seeing a child move away.

Nirazaki: I know that a lot of people want to hear more about fusion. With Gotenkusu now in the story, will he play that big of a role? And most of all, is he stronger than Son Goku himself?

Toriyama-san: Well I dont know yet. Ive planned some things with Gotenkusu, but he wont be the focus of the entire saga. Youll see as things develop. As for their strength, Gotenkusu is a little bit stronger, but you wouldnt notice a difference. Still, Son Goku will always be the most skilled martial artist! (Smiles) But Gotenkusu will not be the only person to go higher than son Goku.

Nirazaki: What does that last part mean?

Toriyama-san: Youll find out.

Nirazaki: Ill remember that! One last question.

Toriyama-san: Make it good, you wont get a second chance! Kidding, Ill see you again.

Nirazaki: Is Son Goku dead forever? He has come back before, but it looks like hes out of lives.

Toriyama-san: I dont want to shift the focus, so I have to keep certain things close to their roots. Son Goku will have his day, but right now its up to "Super Gotenkusu!".
