Dragon Ball or Dragonball?

Which is the correct term? Until recently I thought for sure Dragon Ball is the right name since the Tankoubon manga always had "Dragon" and "Ball" apart in its titles and mentions. That is until I've gotten the Kanzenban edition of the manga which to my amazement had Dragonball as the title. Both of the two are official but which one is more correct?

Well i go with Dragon Ball myself. Dragonball just looks weird to me.

im pretty sure the anime had them as one word. i think it's like color and colour. both are acceptable.
