Need Help in BT2

this might sound like a stupid question, but how do you switch characters during tag team battle. in never says in the instruction booklet and in the game.

L2+L3+R3 (the latter two are pushing down the triggers.)
However, your character that you want to switch with needs their tag bar fully filled up.
